Hartismere Ofsted Report 2014 :  Consecutively  'Outstanding'

Few Secondary Schools and even fewer Sixth Forms achieve an 'Outstanding' grade once from Ofsted. Fewer still have an an up to date version of Ofsted's top grade.  Hartismere has once again been graded as ‘Outstanding’. Pupils were singled out for praise by Ofsted, their attitudes described as ‘exceptional’. Ofsted also spoke about the overwhelmingly supportive nature of the parents in our community.

The Outstanding grade is the highest Ofsted can award and whilst this is a lovely achievement for the school it is also a very fine achievement for our community. Pupils have been superb, parents have been the most supportive I have ever worked with and the PTA, Governors and many other friends of the school deserve enormous credit.

The sixth form also retained its ‘Outstanding’ grade and did so in every category. This coupled with the significant number of students who achieve places at Cambridge, Oxford and Russell Group universities has highlighted the excellent work by our students and their parents.
